Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines – As the 2025 midterm elections approach, recent survey results highlight the leading candidates for the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (Provincial Board) in District 2 of Zamboanga Sibugay. According to an independent survey conducted by Zambostar, the top contenders are:
- Nat-Nat Eudela – 30%
- Doc Vic Javier – 25%
- Atty. Win Alibutdan – 15%
- Judge Sabihon – 12%
- Pia Schuck – 10%
The survey also indicates that 8% of voters remain undecided.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan serves as the legislative body of the province, responsible for enacting ordinances, approving resolutions, adopting the local development plan, approving local investment programs, and appropriating funds for the operation of the province and the welfare of its inhabitants. The survey results suggest a competitive race among the candidates, each striving to present their platforms and gain voter support.
